Literacy Department

The literacy goal of the Pawtucket School Department is for all students to become proficient readers and writers through a comprehensive core, supplemental and intervention curriculum. The district’s three tier model of instruction is driven by: rigorous standards, high-fidelity implementation of programs, use of assessment data, current research and strategic professional development.
